Who’s the Scoble of China? New Intel Blog Live from Beijing IDF

Intel’s Stacy English and Bryan Rhoads talks about how Intel’s new blog Technology@Intel will play a big role at the Intel Devleoper Forum in Beijing this week.

In addition to a team of Intel pros, we might even see some special guests post to the blog from Beijing.

We’ll also see how some of our stories can come together thanks to social media technology.

For TV and Radio reporters, we always call IDF the ultimate geekfest. It really is, and I’m curious to see how social media can help the ultimate geekfest reach any interested person who is curious about the future of technology.

Interesting concept for sure. Now what if the live video stream was part of the initial interview process. I’m certainly game to using tools like Ustream to help me get an advantage to get a foot in the door for an in person interview.

This is an excellent insight into how companies should make bespoke programmes dependent upon the audience they are trying to reach.

Too often I have seen a ‘one size fits all’ methodology into new media outreach.
Hopefully, this kind of research will push vendors to consider that different approaches need to be taken dependent upon the micro-audience that are targetting.

    My post backs this up.

This article mentioned something about WorkBlast.com. I have actually used them to hire programmers and it worked out perfectly. Genius site for both parties. Job seekers and employers

Great update on the “living resume” or so-called “social media resume” by Matt Dickman, Director, Digital Marketing at Fleishman-Hillard http://technomarketer.typepad.com/technomarketer/2008/01/the-social-medi.html

Ken — Thanks for leaving the comment on my post and pointing me here. I love how these conversations dovetail with each other and add value to the whole community. I’m a huge proponent of video and I think the video resume is a great way to give employers a glimpse at who you are.
